Housekeeper

FEFA llc is seeking a housekeeper to provide cleaning services in an animal research facility in Raleigh, NC. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday from 8:30AM-5:00PM. Must have own transportation to the facility.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Sanitize and disinfect clean and dirty corridor floors, doors, walls, ceilings and light fixtures.
• Empty trash from hallways, procedure rooms, lags, necropsy rooms, surgical suites and offices. Perform procedures for safe handling and disposal of carcinogens and other hazardous materials.
• Sanitize and disinfect procedure rooms, labs, necropsy rooms, surgical suites and animal facility offices to include counters, hoods, tables, sinks, work areas, floors, walls, ceilings, and light fixtures.
• Sanitize and disinfect break rooms to include floors, walls, ceilings, sinks, tables, and countertops
• Clean and sanitize immediate E loading dock area around dumpsters.
• Sanitize and disinfect coolers, refrigerators, microwaves, and freezers. Defrost freezers as required.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Perform routine maintenance of cleaning equipment.
• Sanitize and disinfect locker rooms and restrooms to include commodes, shower stalls, sinks, floors, walls, ceilings, lights, benches, countertops and mirrors.
• Stock locker rooms and restrooms with Government furnished disposable supplies to include paper towels, bathroom tissue, soap, and protective clothing supplies.
• Clean windows.
• Clean hallway vents.
• Perform emergency clean up form spills of no-hazardous material, floods, and leaks, etc. as requested by supervisors, managers and/or Project Officer.
