This role demands a keen ability to interpret and standardize data, proficiently create and maintain queries, and continuously enhance the quality, consistency, and completeness of data within the Product Information Management (PIM) system.In addition to mastering the intricacies of data manipulation, this position plays a pivotal role in processing customer orders from prominent retailers such as Wayfair, Amazon, Target, At Home, and other key industry players. The eCommerce Data Specialist applies well-established expertise and advanced capabilities to ensure seamless data flow, contributing to an efficient and accurate representation of products in the e-commerce landscape. Join our team and be at the forefront of shaping the digital shopping experience for major retail partners.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCreate and Maintain Online Product ListingsEfficiently manage a vast database of product SKUs, adeptly manipulating and combining data from diverse source documents.Collaborate closely with various internal teams and external partners to acquire, verify, interpret, and organize data, ensuring seamless information flow.Load product specifications and marketing content for new products into the Product Information Management system, Salsify, and communicate progress effectively through Microsoft Planner.Conduct thorough reviews of Product Detail Pages (PDPs) to ensure completeness and accuracy, maintaining a high standard for online product representation.Execute promotional activities and markdowns in alignment with campaign schedules and seasonal strategies, contributing to the overall success of marketing initiatives.Investigate and resolve partner website backend portal functionality issues by collaborating with both internal and external technology partners, ensuring optimal user experiences.Utilize testing, data analytics, and insights to optimize ecommerce initiatives, providing continuous improvement of business performance metrics. Share these insights across teams and partners to enhance overall strategies.Generate insightful reports analyzing key metrics, such as sales performance, website traffic, and advertising effectiveness. Provide recommendations to enhance the ecommerce strategy and overall performance.Stay abreast of competitive websites and ecommerce trends, actively monitoring the industry landscape. Bring attention to emerging ideas and technologies that could benefit the organization.Perform other assigned duties with diligence and dedication, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the ecommerce operations.Take charge of reviewing and monitoring competitive websites and ecommerce trends, proactively bringing attention to new ideas and technologies as they emerge within the industry.Process eCommerce OrdersEfficiently manage the daily influx of customer orders through Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and customer portals, ensuring meticulous accuracy in order verification.Handle all aspects of drop ship orders daily, meticulously preparing them for shipment to meet delivery timelines.Provide timely Advanced Shipping Notifications (ASNs) for all EDI transactions, enhancing transparency in the shipping process.Daily update of orders with essential details such as tracking numbers, invoice numbers, and ship dates, ensuring a comprehensive and up-to-date order status.Manually process non-integrated EDI orders, entering them into the system and issuing ASNs via web portals for seamless integration.Offer same-day service in responding to incoming emails and phone calls, showcasing a commitment to exceptional customer support.Print and process daily remittances, facilitating smooth accounting procedures.Confirm and implement purchase order changes promptly in our ERP system, maintaining accuracy in order processing.Conduct thorough reviews of daily order batches, proactively identifying and rectifying any inaccuracies.Communicate daily order totals and allocations efficiently through both ERP and email channels.Document all actions, conversations, and issues accurately using workflow tools like Smartsheets, Planner, and internal databases.Utilize reporting software and Smartsheets for diverse tasks, including purchase order allocations, daily totals, open ASNs, and other data requirements.Collaborate seamlessly with various departments, including sales, operations, accounting, inventory, and warehouse teams, to resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently.Monitor delayed orders, providing timely notifications to the warehouse team for estimated time of arrivals (ETAs).Troubleshoot any errors associated with daily EDI tasks, including ASN rejections or orders placed on hold, ensuring a streamlined process.Leverage third-party software to guarantee accurate completion of EDI processes.Direct or route calls to the appropriate personnel for efficient resolution.Process a variety of order types, ranging from simple to complex, through manual methods such as email, portals, and EDI interfaces.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is preferred, demonstrating a foundational understanding of business principles; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.1-3 years of hands-on experience in Product Data Management, showcasing proficiency in syndication tools such as Salsify.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Planner, and Power BI, coupled with expert-level Excel skills.
