Entry-Level Installer Recruiting Specialist – Full Time
General Description: To support leadership of the Operations functions at Feldco. This role will combine a series of routine weekly & monthly tasks, special projects, and project management activities. As such, your job responsibilities and hours may occasionally be altered to help others complete their duties.
Location: Des Plaines, IL
Hours: Mon - Fri 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm (The schedule is at the discretion of the manager for this position)
Reports to: Installer Recruiting Coordinator
Objectives of the Operations Department (not in any particular order):
- Complete measurements, installations, services, and inspections with 100% accuracy to delight customers.

- Prevent problems from occurring and solve problems that do occur.
- Help the team by performing additional tasks such as permits, scheduling, purchasing, etc., as necessary.
- Seek out and execute opportunities to improve the business.
- Help recruit new team members to Feldco.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Installer Recruiting Specialist (not in any particular order and subject to revision and development):
- Recruit Installation Companies to install Windows, Siding and/or Doors for Feldco’s mid-western coverage area by:
- Cold Calling leads found online, in local markets, and Feldco’s database
- Coordinating print and outdoor advertising with local market managers
- Once companies are interested, walk them through and obtain all necessary paperwork: i.e., completed Installation packet and proof of GL and Worker’s Comp Insurance as well as Lead Safe Certification.
- Work on forecasting to ensure there are enough resources to meet/exceed metrics.
- Visit job sites to inspect installations and answer questions for homeowners and/or Installation Companies.
- Occasional travel to Feldco’s showroom locations
- Execute process improvements through process design, leadership and training.
- Assist with coordinating Installer trainings and engagement events.
- Understand and occasionally assist the different functions of Feldco’s Operations Department
- Assist with scheduling service, measurement, and installation appointments
- Resolve product or service concerns by clarifying customer’s issues
- Receive, assemble, file and organize job packets.
- Complete necessary paperwork and data entry to process permits and purchasing.
- Process on-order and completion payments for services and contracts.
- Expedite work including scheduling technicians as well as installation companies when necessary
- Open and maintain customer accounts and update I.T. system
- Contribute to team results by working closely with field staff and other departments.
- Share best practices & work closely with other Feldco markets to ensure consistency.
