What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Dietary Manager position at Felder Services?
We are looking for a Certified Dietary Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nutrition and food service, and will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dietary department. This includes menu planning, budgeting, food purchasing, meal preparation, staff training and management, and ensuring compliance with local health regulations. The successful candidate will also be expected to provide nutrition education to patients and staff members.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement nutrition care plans for patients.
- Assess nutritional needs of patients and make appropriate recommendations.
- Monitor patient food intake and provide guidance to ensure adequate nutrition.
- Monitor patient progress and modify nutrition care plans as needed.
- Provide education to patients, families, and staff on nutrition topics.
- Manage the food service department in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of food production, inventory, and patient meal selections.
