Summary/Objective:
The Fellowship Kids Midweek Coordinator will administer and lead all Midweek activities hosted by Fellowship Bible Church Children’s ministry.
Under supervision of the Childrens Ministry Director, the Midweek Coordinator will:
- Create and maintain a system of volunteers for various Midweek children’s ministry events including Midweek Mornings and Evenings for children ages birth through 5th grade.
- Initiate and perform administrative tasks for the ministry, including scheduling volunteers, responding to phone calls and emails, executing curriculum delivery, and other administrative duties as called for.
- Recruit paid childcare workers and volunteer childcare workers as needed.
- Background Check, train and supervise all paid workers and volunteers duringmidweek activities.
- Coordinate with Children’s Ministry director regarding curriculum for Preschool andElementary programs. Ensure resources for kid's classes are prepared for each servicetime and room.
- Ensures volunteer screening processes are followed and maintains volunteerbackground lists and requests updates as required.
- Compose and create informational letters, brochures, etc. for distribution for Children’sMinistry by collaborating with the Communications department.
- Equip volunteers and leaders with curriculum and supplies, including but not limited tomemory verse handouts, parent communication and any audio/visual components.
- Maintain and restock Kids ministry supply closets as needed.
- Maintain and use church database software for check-in, data collection,communication, etc.
- Work closely with other staff on any areas of ministry cross-over.
- Partner with other staff for special events (including VBS, Easter, Christmas and otherchurch events) when those occur during Midweek activities.
- Perform other duties, as needed.
Time Requirements:
This position will be completed in 15 hours per week (Primarily Wednesday morning and evening, other hours flexible Monday-Thursday)

This job operates in a professional office environment and uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, desktop computers and telephones.
Physical Demands:
This job also operates in a classroom setting and requires standing, bending, kneeling and more. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and frequently required to walk, sit and/or stand for sustained periods of time; lift, push, pull items in excess of 30 lbs; walk and reach with hands and arms.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
