Accountant
Basic Scope/Purpose: (The job’s primary purpose or contribution to the department or organization.)
The purpose of this position is to support the finance department by managing daily, weekly, monthly and annual accounting tasks, be a part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company’s finances, complete projects as required, and contribute to the development of the Finance function.
Principal Accountabilities: (The job’s essential or most important functions and responsibilities. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)
· Reconciliation of all cash accounts (weekly and monthly).
· Prepare and review monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliation documentation for all active, posting Balance Sheet accounts.
· Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded according to company accounting policies and financial guidelines.
· Review of expenses as assigned.
· Work with the Accounts Payable and Receivable team as needed to ensure proper recording of expenses, and cash payments and receipts.
· Assist with the monthly/yearly closing and rollover of accounts.
· Assist with internal and external audits as requested.
· Other accounting and data projects as requested.
· Maintain and Promote Fenner Precision Polymers Values and Behaviors at all times.

· Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· CMA or CPA preferred
