American Products, Inc. (API) is a national manufacturer of storefront and architectural metal products, including storefronts and entrance doors as well as Canopies, Awnings, Sunshades, ACM, Aluminum Panels Systems, Fixtures and more. We partner with national chain accounts, architects and construction professionals to supply our material nationwide to all of their project location. Our customers include companies like Outback, Chipotle, Panera, H&M, Forever 21, Gap, Aldi and more.
You will be responsible for office management, operations and customer service as well as general maintenance of office procedures and employee training. You will lead efforts for procedure/work instruction documentation (create Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure continued improvement in operational efficiencies and successful growth. Most importantly, you will participate hands on in the day to day activities of office.
Operations Manager Responsibilities:
? Work directly with customers as well as internal staff
? Document and write new / update existing Training Manuals, SOPS, etc.
? Oversee operations and support of departments
? Perform internal training on all office protocols, procedures and other required areas
? Maintain detailed status of projects assigned throughout
? Ensure efficiency throughout all departments
? Participates in HR as needed
? Participate in sales and marketing as needed
? Work with logistics
? Basic accounting responsibilities
Operations Manager Requirements:
? Advanced computer skills an absolute must
? Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
? Very strong attention to detail
? Very strong clerical, organizational and phone skills
? Excellent customer service skills
? Ability to work in a flexible, dynamic and fast-paced working environment with ability to multi-task
? Proven track record in dealing with various personalities, working styles and departments while successfully managing a very busy, customer-focused office.
? Architecture, Construction, Manufacturing exp. a plus but not required.
