Ferguson is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a remote Master Data Specialist as part of the growing Enterprise Customer Success Product Data Team! This role is approved to be 100% remote. Or, if local to the Newport News, VA area, you will have the option for in-office work out of our HQ3 facility. In this role you be responsible for building rapport and trust with Ferguson’s Enterprise Data customers and serve as the voice of our internal customers and supplier partners. You will collect and share insights with the Enterprise Product Data and Information Technology teams, work multi-functionally to tackle business problems, drive operational efficiencies, and deliver a best-in-class user experience. Responsibilities Collaborate, problem-solve, and/or strategize with team members specific to product data collection capabilities and opportunities Understand internal and external customer product data needs and expectations for information Ensure the product data in systems supports the needs of partners and channel-specific business needs Apply critical thinking in reviewing product data collection methodologies Align and maintain coordination with stakeholders and across teams Research product data collection opportunities across different sources and assess the viability Prepare documentation, reports, or visuals to share data collection research, opportunities, and recommendations Assist cross-functional teams with implementing innovative solutions to increase operational efficiencies Assist in developing reporting methods to measure return on investment of the product data collection program Qualifications & Skills Three to five years of related work experience in account management, customer success, professional services, product ownership, or data stewardship Ability to optimally communicate across multiple departments and with varying levels of leadership Analytical and process-oriented approach Proven ability to complete established goals with limited mentorship Solid ability to think at scale while balancing customer experience outcomes. The estimated pay range for this position is below.
