Tire and Automotive Technician

The job purpose of the Tire and Automotive Technician is to install, balance, and repair tires in compliance with company policies and procedures. This person will also unload and stock incoming inventory. Employee will also be proficient at preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, rotations, battery installation, and headlight/taillight installation.

Essential Functions

  • Tire installations, balancing, and repairs
  • Lube oil and filter changes
  • Ability to perform basic maintenance such as brake replacement
  • Ability to work with tire assemblies from cars, equipment, and trailers
  • Ability to lift objects greater than 50lbs
  • Assist in receiving and stocking inventory
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and practices
  • Maintains professional communication and demeanor with vendors, coworkers, and customers
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment
  • Strong commitment to team work while being flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Ability and Willingness to obtain WV State Inspector License
  • All other duties as assigned

Desired Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Desired Job Experience

  • 1 year of experience in automotive repair, mechanic, or automotive technician preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
  • Ability to show up on time and as scheduled (tardiness and excuses will not be tolerated)
  • Certifications Required
  • Valid State Driver's License and reliable transportation is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
