Under direct supervision, works along-side of Head Camp Counselor and other Day Camp Counselors for the daily care of an assigned group of children.
You Will :
Works along-side the Head Counselor and other Day Camp Counselors to establish the care necessary for each child’s needs consistent with their age and stage of development;
develops and executes programs and activities designed to encourage the social, physical, and intellectual development of children in the group.
Maintains adequate supervision both onsite and when on field trips.
- Ensures the group of children is exposed to emergency and evacuation procedures through periodic drills.
- Establishes and maintains a positive rapport with students, their parents, and co-teachers.
- Responsible for the arrangement, appearance, décor, cleanliness and learning environment of the classroom.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Abides by and is responsible for performing all duties in accordance with all environmental, health and safety regulations and practices pertinent to this position.
We Are Looking For :
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Completed one year of college (any subject)
- Must be willing to complete CPR / First-aid Blood Bourne Pathogen once hired
