Summary: The candidate supports Lead Clinical Data Manager across multiple therapeutic areas. Setups and maintains clinical data management processes and data capturing systems for clinical trials by following Ferring SOPs. Develops CRFs, data mapping specifications, DVP, DMP, and data transfer specifications and tests EDC system functionalities. Participates in cross functional clinical trial teams and communicates data management matters. The candidate works closely with the biometrics team including biostatisticians and statistical programmers to ensure quality deliverables. The candidate participates in departmental process improvement and standard development initiatives. Responsibilities: Supports mapping of CRFs to Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC) and Ferring Study Data Tabulation Model (FSDTM). Supports specification of external data transfers, such as laboratory data, patient experience data, adjudicated date, and electronic medical records. Supports data integration in electronic data capturing (EDC) system. Supports testing of EDC system functionalities. Supports developing data validation plan (DVP). Supports developing data management procedure (DMP). Supports developing centralized data monitoring tools. Supports developing and maintaining clinical data standards at Ferring. Stays updated on data management technologies, tools, and solutions and share obtained knowledge within organization. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in life science, computer science, or related discipline, or diploma for clinical data management or equivalent. At least 2 years’ experience of data management in pharmaceutical, biotech, academic, or CRO setting. Knowledge of CDISC data standards. Experiences with SAS programming is plus.
