Job Overview
We’re looking for a Product Manager to support our industry-leading pet health insurance and wellness portfolio. Working closely with teams from across the company, you’ll develop and launch products that will help our adoring pet parents have more healthy days with their beloved pets. These products are a critical component to the success of our organization. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Product, you’ll play a key role as a product strategist, participating in all phases of the product development lifecycle, from ideation to implementation and beyond.
RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Developing new software product concepts, designs, and/or enhancements to existing products that reflect market and user requirements
- Conducting research and developing a good understanding of the customer's needs, new technologies, trends in the market, and competitors
- Developing requirements documents, functional specifications, and mock-ups to clearly illustrate product ideas and concepts
- Developing business plans & release plans for products and participating in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, and integration of products as well as the introduction of products to the market
- Working on cross-functional team to translate customer & business needs and technology directions into product definitions
- Collaborating and building partnerships with business stakeholders to understand business problems, present potential solutions, and communicates clearly and often the status of solutions implementation from design through implementation, launch and measurement
REQUIREMENTS.
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of related experience
- This is a communication role - a strong communicator, able to clearly and concisely articulate product strategy, status and outcomes to all levels of the business is required
