Type: 7 Months Contract
Description:
Client is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Financial Planning Department in providing financial support to the Information Technology and Human Resources functions. The Financial Analyst will play a supporting role, working closely with business leaders to develop financial forecasts, analyze performance, and provide relevant and reliable financial data for decision-making. This position reports to the Global Business Services (GBS) Controller. As a member of the corporate planning team, there will be close liaison with the functional and regional finance teams.
What you will do:
Support GBS controller with budget and forecast activities including uploading cost center data.
- Monthly operating expense reporting, helping to identify variances from forecasted, budgeted, and benchmarked performance.
- Prepare timely and insightful financial analyses and present findings for review and decision-making.
- Partner with business leaders on development and tracking of project spend.
- Capital Expenditure planning, management, and reporting for assigned business functions.
- Headcount analysis and reporting
- Look for cost reduction opportunities.
- Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports as needed.
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or Accounting
- Minimum of 1 year of related finance experience
- Must have proficient Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Understanding of financial theories as well as accounting principles and concepts
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Team player and able to develop relationships.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
A plus if you have:
Experience within farm machinery or automotive industry.
- Experience with OneStream and SAP.
