THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head of Program Management to lead and oversee our global project management functions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing complex technology projects, leading cross-functional teams, and driving program delivery with a focus on best practices, quality, program planning/tracking and reporting, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:


- Developing and implementing program management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure successful project delivery.

- Leading and mentoring a team of program managers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of projects.

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and sales, to align project goals with overall business objectives.

- Defining and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve program effectiveness and efficiency.

- Identifying and mitigating risks, and proactively addressing issues to ensure timely delivery of projects.

- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.

- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program management processes and methodologies.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
  • 5 years of prior experience of leading global program management, with a track record of successfully developing and launching successful product and program management portfolios.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing program management best practices.
  • Expertise in portfolio management and the ability to define and communicate best practices.
  • Proficient in project management tools such as Jira and Monday; experience in leveraging these tools for efficient project execution.
  • A passion to build strong relationships with stakeholders, industry        experts, and partners to lead, define, represent, and communicate program and product portfolios.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Strategic Planning
  • Develop and implement a global program management strategy aligned with the organization's overall strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with executive leadership to ensure that program initiatives contribute to the achievement of broader business goals.
  • Team Leadership
  • Lead and manage a global team of program managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the program management team.
  • Program Oversight
  • Oversee the execution of multiple programs and projects across different regions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor program progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, sales, and finance.
  • Resource Management
  • Allocate resources efficiently across various programs to optimize productivity and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with resource managers and project managers to address resource constraints and prioritize critical initiatives.
  • Risk Management
  • Identify potential risks and issues related to global programs and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Implement risk management processes to minimize the impact of unforeseen challenges.
  • Quality Assurance
  • Establish and maintain program management best practices and quality standards.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program management processes.
  • Budget Management
  • Develop and manage budgets for global programs, ensuring effective financial control and resource optimization.
  • Reporting and Analytics
  • Provide regular updates and reports to executive leadership on the status of global programs.
  • Use data and analytics to evaluate program performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Technology Utilization
  • Leverage project and program management tools, such as Jira, Monday, or other relevant platforms, to streamline processes and enhance collaboration.
  • Compliance and Governance
  • Ensure that global programs comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal governance policies.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the program management function, seeking opportunities to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.

  • Exempt, Base salary of $200-245K per year
