What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at FF INC.?
We are looking for a General Laborer/Grounds Maintenance person to take up manual labor tasks and support operations staff at our facility.
One of the most important responsibilities is to keep the site clean, safe and maintain the cleanliness of the facilities, landscaping and grounds at our facility. You will also work with our operations team, if/when they may need some extra help.
Need to have stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads. Must focus on performing your tasks and commit to safety rules.
Responsibilities
- Maintain grounds around our facility
- Mowing, edging, weed-eating, tree trimming, landscaping
- Assist welders, electricians and other operations personnel on-site
- Handle and transport materials and equipment
- Use power tools and machinery when needed
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks (e.g. digging, stacking up goods)
Requirements
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing/sitting for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds etc.)
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Familiarity with power tools and machinery
- Display communication and teamwork skills
- Must have a strong commitment to safety
- Pass a drug screen and background check'
