What are the responsibilities and job description for the OS & D Representative position at FFE Brand?
Frozen Food Express is looking for an OS&D Clerk for our Lancaster, TX location.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records to report all OS&D freight issues on a daily or weekly basis to terminal manager and OS&D Manager
- Research, identify & resolve issues with shipments
- Maintain count list of items received or shipped and check against BOL, recording any discrepancies
- Maintain a clean and organized OS&D area
- Research and resolve all OS&D freight issues
- Identify freight bills requiring special delivery instructions
- Investigate, resolve, and respond to inquiries from customers regarding overages, shortages, and damaged freight issues
- Verify and process paperwork and procedures concerning claims, charges and tracing of freight
- Transfer information from the BOL to the bill format to prepare bills for freight movement
- Create bills to move freight for delivery
- Provide assistance as needed to complete department duties and necessary customer service
- Regular and reliable attendance is required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualification/Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED, or any combination of education and experience.
- Regular attendance is required
- AS400 experience preferred
- Computer skills; advanced knowledge in MS Word and Excel
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
- Must be able to work in fast paced environment with high volume workload with multiple priorities
- Experience in the transportation industry a plus, but not required
