Description
Responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, preparing product for customer pickup or delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment.
• Greet customer and handle all customer pick-ups while verifying product quantities and condition.
• Ensuring all pick-up/delivery paperwork is accurately completed
• Welcome delivery trucks
• Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to the purchase order and ensure all goods are in excellent condition.
• Counting and confirming inventory.
• Marking and labeling product.
• Storing inventory in accessible manner.
• Loading and wrapping of product to ensure safe transportation.
• Proper assembly of freight.
• Monitor and report any missing or lost inventory to management.
• Record all impaired or damaged merchandise items
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Work experience as general laborer, preferably in warehouse.
• Strong people skills with superior customer service.
• Good moral character, professional demeanor and positive attitude.
• Physically strong (ability to lift 50Ibs), agile and dexterous.
• Undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions.
• The ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
• Energetic and creates a positive working environment, team player.
• Available to work extended hours, weekends and holidays.
• Intermediate skills with everyday common tools.
• Good organizational and time-management skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• 18 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license.
• Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.
