APPLICATION DEVELOPER (DATABASE)

FI Consulting is seeking a full-time Application Developer (Database) to work in our Arlington, VA Headquarters and throughout the Metro DC area on client projects.

This project is supporting our client's information management by helping them build the tools they need to support their functions (model reviews)

• At least 5 years of Application Development with strong SQL and experience with PostgreSQL and MYSQL are required
• Technical Expertise in Python , AWS Technologies 
• Demonstrated success in crafting, designing, and developing compelling presentations and documents
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with writing complex and optimized SQL queries
• Strong knowledge and experience in data modeling, database design, optimization for performance, stored procedures
• A strong understanding of SQL best practices and database architecture
• Experience in building Power BI or Tableau Dashboards 

Additional Requirements:

• Authorized to work in the United States as a permanent resident or US Citizen.  We are not able to sponsor or accept any visa holders at this time including H1B.
• Successfully pass a background investigation and drug screening.
• Reside in the DC Metro area within 30 days of hire.
