Fiber Technologies Solutions is seeking a mapping specialist. Compliance Specialist– Mapping Level 2 manages the technical splicing documentation required to close jobs with our client. This person will be responsible for ensuring all closing splicing documentation from the field is properly formatted for submission. This individual will be responsible for reviewing production from the field’s backup documentation and transferring it to clean maps and/or splicing documentation to be used for job closure and invoicing. They will be responsible for the footage and asbuilt task management in P2 to ensure that we meet our customer deadlines and expectation
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage all specified tasks as assigned in the client portal
- Communicate to both internal and external teams if established dates or customer expectation is at risk
- Transfer all Technical documentation from the field documents an all-inclusive document package for the client
- Provide Client specified details on documentation to outline all technical work completed in the field
- Verify all technical details are outlined in the documentation and if not work with the field teams to acquire any missing documentation or descriptive details
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of communications construction Aerial, underground and ISP Map Reading skills preferred
- Technical background preferred
- Bluebeam experience preferred
- Experience drafting redlines and asbilling
- Experience preparing splicing documentation as required by client
- Works well in environment with firm deadlines; results oriented
- Perform multiple tasks effectively
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical skills required
- Capable of making timely, independent decisions
- Strong Interpersonal skills
