Fickey Martinez Law Firm is accepting resumes for an Immigration legal assistant or Immigration paralegal immediately in our Jacksonville office.
Requirement:
- Prior work experience in an office setting or a law firm is required.
- High School Diploma
- Bilingual (Spanish mandatory)

- can work independently and as a team with other staff;
- can effectively communicate in person and over the phone;
- has a friendly personality and easily approachable;
- is organized and detailed oriented;
- is technologically literate;
- has a valid driver’s license & is willing to commute to different offices when needed;
- has the commitment to work in the immigration-related office setting;
- is able to communicate in more than one language.
Our office has other office locations throughout Eastern North Carolina. All staff, phones, systems are connected. Office staff is required to communicate with one another to give support and assist in workload.
Job description: As an assistant or paralegal, you would be assisting the attorney and other staff in handling the case workload, answering the phone, responding to emails, performing some mailing, and meeting with clients. The Workplace is in-person in Jacksonville NC, but you may be required to commute to our different office locations in Eastern NC 2-5 times a year.
