The Role
The Enterprise Infrastructure & Operations Strategy, Planning & Product Enablement team is looking for an energetic and agile/lean Director of Program Management. This person is responsible for delivery of large, complex programs that directly support Enterprise Infrastructure & Operations (EI&O) key objectives for innovation, modernization, stability, and resiliency of our service offerings. The Director of Program Management is a leader who facilitates program-level processes and execution, provides transparency, drives iterative progress through influence, mitigates risks, and raises impediments. This person will thrive in a fast-paced environment, working with and leading work across technical product areas to deliver on complex program-level initiatives. This agile program leader is someone who brings a passion for orchestrating innovative solutions, fostering engaging experiences, and delivering high business value outcomes for our customers.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree required, CSM, CSPO, and PMP certifications a plus
- At least 10 years of program management, organization, presentation, and business analysis experience working in a dynamic business environment
- At least 5 years’ experience in Agile Program Management
- Seasoned leader with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, as well as experience presenting to senior executives.
- Critical thinking, problem solving, and working within ambiguity
- Strong proficiency and experience with encouraging Agile behaviors, reinforcing practices, norms, ceremonies, and supporting the overall program team’s performance and efficiency
- A track record of effectively working across technology, business, and operational functions at an enterprise level
- Proven success cultivating partnerships, influencing effectively, and delivering solutions which result in mutually beneficial outcomes
- Ability to acquire, synthesize and interpret program and project data into executive themes and storylines
- Ability to adapt well to change in direction and priority in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
- You encourage and enable agile ways of working and take a continuous improvement approach
- Working knowledge of the following Agile tools is preferred: JIRA, Tableau, FlowMetrics, JIRA Align, & Agility Health.
- Provide business vision and guide IT programs with a focus on customer impact
- Work closely with Product Area, Squad/Chapter Leads, Scrum Masters, and other stakeholders to help ensure that strategy and execution are aligned.
- Work with team to deliver incremental objectives and to help ensure strategy and execution alignment.
- Facilitate frequent cross team events to ensure teams are in sync
- Help manage and track both key dependencies and technical impediments impacting the program.
- Ability to assess and integrate new information and requirements into plans seamlessly
