Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to lead our PI Web Application Support team. In this role, you will be responsible for the Production Support. In addition to strong technical competency, the position requires the ability to effectively manage a geographically diverse team, build and leverage client relationships, and provide innovative thought leadership.
The Director of Systems and Support will support Engineering and Systems Operational support for Business Unit aligned functions including Application Support, Cloud Enablement, Environment Management & Web Operations, and core client/customer deliverables. By demonstrating and promoting Fidelity and agile leadership behaviors, you will evolve and sustain an innovative agile culture.
You will have the opportunity to leverage all your skills in engineering, modernizing, and testing applications in addition to providing critical production support. You will be encouraged to quickly gain understanding of all the components of our applications and will work with the team to deliver outstanding solutions.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred
- 8 years of experience in Engineering and Operational Support leadership in the financial services industry
- Manage a team of system engineers, including hiring decisions, performance management, establishing performance goals, and providing coaching and feedback
- Facilitate work prioritization based on business and technology needs
- Experience in Web/cloud application engineering and design
- Capable of partnering with and influencing individuals at all organizational levels
- Experience in building and managing Lean / Agile based technology delivery teams (DevOps)
- Experience in constructing Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery technologies and processes.
- Significant experience in managing large, technical program portfolios
- Experience in Internal/External Cloud environments
- Experience in Hybrid environments
- Ability to effectively lead a cross functional team.
- Experience in incident management and problem management.
- Ability to understand the business criticality of various applications as they relate to complex business processes.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Able to understand a complex and global systems environment.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and/or Agile Project Management.
- Ability to work across teams to achieve desired results.
