Job Description:
Fidelity Fund & Investment Operations (FFIO) is seeking a Director, Security Architect to help deliver next generation cloud-based platforms. In the Security Architect role, you will work on complex and critical technology programs paramount to FFIO’s business operations. This role will also allow you to engage in new and emerging technologies and play an active role in FFIO’s ongoing journey to the cloud.
In close partnership with business and IT partners, you will provide technical leadership and vision, authoring multi-year architecture roadmaps, and actively promoting opportunities to optimize, consolidate, reuse, and simplify. You will author impactful security architecture solutions that achieve business goals, align with FFIO technology strategy, and promote standard methodologies in design and architecture.
The Expertise You Have
15 years of experience in software design, architecture, and development
10 years of industry experience in security architecture, analytics, design, and development of enterprise solutions for multiple technology platforms, frameworks, and languages.
Good understanding of value of deploying applications in a cloud environment and how to keep them secure.
The ability to guide the development and design of security standard methodologies to all layers of the application stack.
Experience with application security implementations and standard methodologies. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CCSP, AWS Security Principles, and AWS Certified Solution Architect preferred.
Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Cryptography / Key Management, Access Controls and Security Protocols, secrets modernization, secrets management e.g., Multi-factor, SAML, OAuth, OIDC etc.
Extensive technology knowledge and recognized expertise in several areas including Java, Spring, Oracle, Lambda, Cloud patterns, Cloud Service and User Authentication. or similar.
Experience with firewall, WAF, and other edge services as well as deep understanding of DMZ and other network architectures.
Experience establishing a strategy for and implementing cloud enterprise solutions in AWS and/or Azure.
A strong understanding of cloud container platforms such as Kubernetes / EKS.
Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
Financial services background, e.g.– trade settlement, corporate action, etc. would be a plus
A degree in Computer Science or related field
