Job Description:
The Role
As an IT Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing products and associated products through the entire product lifecycle from strategic planning to support. This includes gathering requirements, managing vendor contracts, building and presenting business cases, and collaborating with business unit partners. You will serve as a focal point for the product & services, identify opportunities, collaborate on strategy development, participate in governance processes, and manage partner team relationships / prioritization alignments.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Experience developing and maintaining enterprise-wide product roadmaps
- Experience in managing vendors and contracts through the acquisition and renewal process
- Financial services experience, preferred
- Agile experience; Jira and Jira Align
- Demonstrated project management skills
- BS degree preferred
- 5 years of related experience and/or technical product management
- Strong interpersonal, negotiating, and influencing skills with a demonstratable ability to engage senior management and across all levels of the organization
- Data-focused approach to understanding customer needs, translate strategic objectives into action, and prioritize to improve value delivered
- Ability to define product features and break them into clear and concise stories with well-defined business value and acceptance criteria
- Strong focus on execution and ability to identify, communicate, and remove impediments to progress
- Capable of leading, influencing, and motivating colleagues
- Continuously improve and encourage an agile way of working, accepting servant leadership behaviors and approach
- Proven intellectually curious and model a culture of continuous learning, mentoring, and coaching
