Performs integrated tests using Jenkins and monitors Application Programming Interface (API) interactions using Identity Server/Key Manager, Publisher, Store, and Gateway. Documents operational procedures using API Management and Integration exchange. Captures API Request and Response samples and creates virtual suites using SOAP/REST APIs, Swagger definitions and Web Service Design Language (WSDL) files. Provides analysis leadership on complex systems analysis projects, often across subsystems and companies, in a matrix organization. Consult with business users to develop recommendations that address difficult and complex business needs and opportunities. Develops and documents recommendations to address difficult and complex business needs and opportunities.  Participates in incident/crisis management to assess business impact and determine/facilitate workarounds, in concert with production support efforts.

Designs new systems based on requirements.

Assists in defining project scope.

Ensures stakeholders are aligned with project strategy.

Drives analysis of existing architecture and intricacies within platforms.

Communicates progress of projects to management.

Engages stakeholders on a regular basis.

Coordinates and participates in the definition of test strategies.

Coordinates user acceptance testing efforts.

Manages expectations of internal and external stakeholders.

Leads and conducts interviews with business and stakeholders to gather requirements.

Analyzes technology needs and system and workflow challenges.

Establishes full project life cycle plans for complex systems analysis projects.

Leads other analysts in the execution of documents on large and complex projects.

Monitors quality and progress of documents created by other analysts.

Collaborates to evolve standards and best practices for systems analysis processes.

Advises on risk assessment and risk management strategies.

Coaches and mentors junior team members on systems analysis techniques and business workflows.

Collaborates with business and technology partners to develop solutions and overall strategies.

Serves as industry subject matter expert, and identifies other subject matter experts who are the sources of requirements for large and complex projects.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Technology Management, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Systems Analyst (or closely related occupation) executing systems analysis and production support using SQL, data analysis, and Splunk or Datadog within a financial service environment.

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Information Technology Management, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Systems Analyst (or closely related occupation) executing systems analysis and production support using SQL, data analysis, and Splunk or Datadog within a financial service environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) writing, running, and debugging Oracle queries and stored procedures using SQL Developer and MySQL Work-bench; analyzing physical, conceptual, and logical schemas for relational databases; troubleshooting, monitoring, and identifying root causes of underlying issues for applications using Splunk or Datadog; and creating and monitoring Splunk dashboards, alerts, and scheduled jobs (in Control-M).

DE analyzing data processing plans, designing reporting systems, and creating design documents using Visio and Figma; performing data modelling, analysis, and visualization using Tableau and Excel; conducting data and metric analysis by maintaining and updating intranet sites using HTML or Cascading Style Sheet (CSS); creating architectural design documentation Cloud solutions using AWS (S3), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), and Virtual Private Network (VPN); and launching EC2 and RDS instances.

DE analyzing legacy systems and designing solutions to solve issues according to business requirements and architecture standards using z/OS, Common Business Oriented Language(COBOL), Job Control Language (JCL), Customer Information Control System (CICS), DB2, and Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM); and troubleshooting issues using ENDEVOR, Control-M, and File-aid (ServiceNow for technology inventory and ticket management).

DE coordinating large-scale enterprise financial investment technology programs: designing micro services to develop regulatory, service, and marketing communications platforms; creating and executing regression test suites for increased product quality; and performing analysis and designing reports from Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) runs -- to compare calculation results generated by legacy applications to new Cloud STP based calculation process -- using Mainframe COBOL, JCL, and SQL.

Salary:  $163,654.00 - $173,654.00/year.
