Senior API Engineer (NodeJS)

The Role

Fidelity Labs is looking for a Senior API Engineer (NodeJS) to join a newly founded startup. As a key member of a small and growing engineering team, this role will be hands-on building the technology, architecture and dev ops infrastructure of world class end-to-end systems.

The Expertise You Have

• Expert level knowledge in REST API development. Node background and experience in middle tier applications is a must.

• Strong software experience in developing and a proven track record of delivering web applications using the following technologies: JavaScript/TypeScript/CSS/HTML

• You are comfortable working in an Agile software delivery environment, with exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools.

• You have a passion for clean, maintainable code and are always looking to improve your engineering skills in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

• Learning, adapting and adopting new concepts & technologies quickly and implementing them optimally.

• Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a modular and scalable platform.

• You build positive relationships with other team members and have excellent verbal and written communication.
