VP Segment Marketing, Fidelity Charitable
The Role
As the Vice President of Segment Marketing, you are highly motivated and strategic with a hands-on approach. You blend both business and functional marketing expertise with the ability to effectively partner, collaborate, and influence across Fidelity Charitable and Fidelity.
You will lead a team that drives the strategies focused on educating, acquiring, and growing primary audiences of Fidelity Charitable including donors, financial advisors and corporations. With an eye on future innovation and growth, you will also be responsible for launching new philanthropic products and broadening the philanthropic messaging as Fidelity Charitable and Fidelity seek to further the impact of philanthropy.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
BA/BS required; MBA preferred
15 years of relevant marketing/management/strategic experience
Experience driving B2C and B2B acquisition and retention strategy
Experience working with UHNW consumers, financial advisors, or financial services is a plus
Leadership: collaborate enterprise-wide and lead development of marketing communications campaigns and programs (segmentation, strategy articulation, opportunity sizing, budgets, etc.) that drive customer awareness, engagement, and growth
Partnership and influence: establish and facilitate effective cross-functional relationships at all levels across the business in a highly collaborative environment
Deep expertise in: segmentation and design target development; digital experience; business and marketing strategy focused on customer targeting; product launches
Analytical: understand, analyze, and articulate data about the customer base and behaviors to develop hypothesis, strategies, and solutions
Innovative: seek out, understand, and apply new approaches and technology to bring sophistication to marketing strategies
Storytelling: present complex information effectively across the enterprise; create messaging that resonates across both consumer and business audiences
Intellectual curiosity: learn new skills and capabilities, committed to helping support Fidelity Charitable’s transformation to a better way of working
The Team
Fidelity Charitable is an independent public charity that has helped donors support more than 400,000 nonprofit organizations with more than $84 billion in grants.
This role leads the Segment Marketing Team. This team is responsible for creating and implementing strategic content and marketing initiatives to educate and raise awareness of Fidelity Charitable as well as additional innovative philanthropy solutions. Target markets include donors, financial advisors, and corporations.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
