As a Plynk product leader you will be a critical part of a newly formed product team within an exciting start-up business of Fidelity Investments. Your experience and skills will help continue to build and scale our product, as it evolves to bring new features to market (including crypto).
In this role you will have the opportunity to be the product owner for a skilled agile team focused on bringing new experiences to customers through the medium of mobile apps (iOS/Android). You will bring your passion for the customer to scale & build new features to delight and grow our “community”.
On this journey, you will have the support of partners from different functions (marketing, service) as you identify key customer needs, scan the competitive landscape, and keep up to date on mobile technology trends and developments. Your ambitions will be deeply rooted in data as you define requirements, prioritize work, build roadmaps, lead the planning and execution of iterative releases with your team.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- You hold a bachelor’s degree, with an advanced degree being preferred.
- You have 7 years of comparable product management experience in financial services and technology including start-up and go-to-market familiarity.
- You have demonstrated success defining and launching software products (mobile apps) from concept to scale in market using Agile methodologies.
- You possess a keen interest in customer feedback / marketplace trends and use this to help define product strategy
- You have outstanding analytical, project/program management, and problem-solving skills.
- You build strong relationships and partner effectively to build credibility and trust with diverse stakeholders.
- You are a hands-on leader, an active listener and are motivated by building teams to deliver products through all stages of product development.
- You take a data-focused approach to understanding customer needs, translating strategic objectives into action, and prioritizing customer value delivered.
- You are intellectually curious and model a culture of continuous learning, mentoring, and coaching others to be the best version of themselves.

- Creating customer centric digital experiences that deliver on product, technology, and Fidelity goals.
- Defining and prioritizing a squad roadmap aligned to the larger set of product and business goals/KPIs.
- Delivering key features for our product by taking accountability for feature releases and empowering the team.
- Bringing a strategic mindset to look beyond the “here and now”, and use data, customer feedback and market signals to help define what is “coming next”.
- Fostering a collaborative environment where opinions and team dynamics matter, to create a high functioning cross-skilled team.
- Aligning teams to well understood metrics and using these data points to define a path and derive success/adjustments.
- Comfortable challenging the status quo and bringing new ideas to the fore, supported with data and customer/competitive insights.
