Risk Analyst, Personal Investing - Risk Oversight

The PI Risk Oversight Team is searching for a motivated analyst who will perform a variety of testing activities using data analysis techniques, as we expand our oversight programs related to models, rules engines, automated controls, and system-generated reports. This is a unique opportunity to use and develop your analytical skills while testing and assessing some of the most critical controls used within our business.

As a Risk Management Professional in Fidelity’s Personal Investing organization you will aid in the protection and safekeeping of assets that millions of individual investors trust us with each and every day. You will become an integral part of an organization that encourages better futures for our customers and our associates!

• 3-5 years of experience in financial services
• Execution of testing plans, program objectives and team goals are required and should be timely, accurate, and complete
• Data analytics experience preferred
• Prior use of analytics techniques, tools such as Python, SQL and similar tools preferred
• Proven independence, ability to learn and apply new technological tools, and the ability to recover from failures quickly and having learned something from the experience
• Audit, Compliance or Risk experience a plus

• Ability to effectively prioritize day-to-day responsibilities and longer-term projects
• Experience with using common analytical, reporting, and visualization tools and methods
• An ability to learn continuously in a highly complex and regulated environment
• Effective communication, both written and verbal

• Executing test plans covering a wide range of regulated activities
• Promoting a culture of risk management by building rapport and crafting awareness about the risks facing our business partners
• Supporting and developing risk oversight programs focused on automation, complex applications, and tools used to perform a wide range of activities across our business lines
