Senior Software Engineer
Fidelity TalentSource is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Westlake, Texas.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering next-generation billing platforms in the cloud as part of a multi-year initiative to modernize and improve billing capabilities.
You will work on hands-on development and provide technical leadership and mentorship for junior members of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy cloud-enabled applications using 12 factor design
- Build and deploy applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools
- Work with product management on requirements and deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations
- Mentor junior software engineers
- Build scalable, resilient, cloud-based systems aligned with our long-term strategy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (4 years of experience)
- Expertise in core Java technologies and frameworks like Spring Boot
- Understanding of AWS or other cloud platforms and containerization technologies
- Basic understanding of Angular framework or experience with another UI framework
- Experience with SQL and stored procedures (Oracle database preferred)
