ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Sales during the quote stage for technical requirements, manufacturability review, and cost development.
- Collaborate with CNC Programmers, Purchasing, and department leads to develop and document the manufacturing process.
- Develop and maintain ERP system data for all technical requirements such as Bill of Materials, Routings, Sequence, and Cycle Times to ensure accurate cost and capacity data.
- Provide technical support to Operations and NPI during the manufacturing process to resolve production issues promptly and support on-time delivery.
- Assist in continuous improvement process in all areas of production to improve part quality, and throughput and reduce overall production cost.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or similar engineering discipline (Preferred).
- A two-year technical degree will be considered for a Manufacturing Engineering role.
- 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience in CNC machining or fabrication (machining, sheet metal, welding) preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, with a customer-centric attitude and demeanor.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team-centric attitude, willingness to be on the shop floor and work with key engineering and manufacturing leaders on design, process, and engineering projects.
