What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Social Media Manager position at Fielder Church?

Fielder Church is seeking a creative and dynamic full-time Social Media Manager who will be responsible for managing all social media accounts on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter (5 English & 3 Spanish) and 5 Google Business Pages. Fielder Church & Iglesia Fielder social media accounts have 17.5k followers/subscribers and reach 100,000 people monthly. The successful candidate will work closely with the Communications Director and Video Producers and will be responsible for data analytics, marketing, and brand management on all social platforms.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Develop and implement social media marketing strategies that align with the church's mission and values.
  • Create and publish engaging social media content that will reach and connect with our target audience.
  • Monitor and track the performance of all social media accounts using analytics tools and use this data to improve the effectiveness of the social media strategy.
  • Respond to comments and messages across all social media accounts and Google business pages promptly and professionally.
  • Research and keep current with the latest trends and changes on all social media platforms and apply these insights to improve engagement and reach.
  • Work with the Communications Team to create social media advertising campaigns to promote church events and programs.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the church to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all ministry-specific social media platforms.
  • Build and manage a volunteer team at each of our campuses.
  • Create original content that encourages people to engage with the church & step into God’s calling for their life.
  • Create and translate social media content from English to Spanish, as needed.
  • Translate additional communications projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Be a devoted and growing follower of Jesus Christ.
  • Demonstrates a pastoral heart when responding to comments on social media channels.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Proficient in using social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter.
  • Knowledgeable about social media analytics tools and able to use data to inform decision-making.
  • Creative and able to generate innovative ideas for content creation.
  • Knowledgeable about social media trends and able to adapt quickly to changes.
  • A team player who can collaborate effectively with other departments within the church.
  • Familiarity with managing Google business pages.
  • Proficient at using Canva and Dropbox.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite (Planner, Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, etc.).

Education and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in social media management or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing is preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in written & spoken Spanish is required.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
