The Bartender position at Fielding’s River Oaks is a key element in creating positive, memorable guest experience at the Bar. The position is responsible for executing Fielding’s Craft Cocktail program, serving beer, wine and food at, and in, the bar areas to expectation.
Essential Duties but not limited to:
Ø Follow stated recipes to specification to make cocktails using jigger 100% of the time without fail or exception
Ø Work in a clean, fast manner with elegance
Ø Be proficient at using the LAVU POS system to ring food & beverage
Ø Pour wine to specification using specified equipment
Ø Maintain a clean, orderly station
Ø Be 100% knowledgeable about Fielding’s food and beverage and service standards
Ø Be nimble in high activity situations able to greet guests, prepare, serve, and sell food & beverages in a high paced environment while engaging with the guests at the bar
Ø Must be able to process to-go orders
Competencies & Qualifications:
Ø Attend quarterly meetings to review operational performance and expectation expectations
Ø Must have current TABC and Certified Food Hand handler card/ certifications
Ø Have a true happy disposition
Ø Bi-lingual a plus
Ø Like highly fluid situations
Ø Be able to think on your feet quickly
Ø Demonstrate interest and share knowledge of food and beverage
Ø Able to lift and carry 25 pounds
Ø Able to follow directions and specifications
Ø Develop rapport with others to understand the full range of Fielding’s products and services
Ø Consistently search ways to improve and promote a high level of guest service
Ø Be open to constructive feedback
Ø Treat guests and Partners with respect
Ø Help provide a risk free and safe working environment and experience
Ø Apply accurate logic and common sense in decisions making or solving problems
