Responsibilities  

• The Body Shop Manager is responsible for developing business through customers, insurance adjusters, and other sources to maximize sales volume, provide a reasonable department operating profit and maintain customer satisfaction standards while controlling expenses

• The Body Shop Manager directs the activities of the Body Shop repair facility employees in performing body repairs, including meeting time schedules and productivity levels

• Knowledge and the ability to comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect collision repair operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA right-to-know, etc.

• Work with OEM’s to obtain and retain certifications

• Hire, train, motivate, counsel and monitor the performance of all Body Shop Facility staff

• Be able to provide technical assistance as needed

• Establish and maintain good working relationships with all insurance adjusters, agents, tow companies, etc.

• Keep abreast of new equipment and tools available and recommend purchases

• Account for all documents to ensure that none are missing

• Schedule shop work as efficiently as possible in accordance with dealership policy

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience as an Auto Body Shop Manager

• Excellent communication and managerial skills

• Strong focus on providing excellent customer service.

• Clean and valid Driver's License
