Our Napa Taproom first opened in 2017 inside the Oxbow Public Market. As of 2020, we are now located in the “annex” building of the Oxbow Public Market and feature a large outdoor beer garden to better serve our guests. As we’ve continued to grow through the years, so too has our offerings, which feature our wide variety of craft beer, select wine options, non-alcoholic options, and a food program featuring small bites, salads, and Detroit-style pizza.

Job Description: We are currently looking for exceptional candidates to fill the role of Taproom Associate in a part-time capacity. Do you thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment? Does the idea of anticipating the needs of a guest, then fulfilling it before the guest realizes they need something excite you?

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome customers, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with beer selections, answering questions, and making recommendations.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized taproom area, ensuring a pleasant environment for guests.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down the taproom for daily operations.
• Monitor and replenish merchandise displays.
• Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and regulations.
• Assist in food preparation and handling, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and food safety.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain beer knowledge and stay informed about current offerings.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Food prep experience is desired.
• Knowledge of craft beer is a plus but not required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• TIPS, RBS, or equivalent alcohol service certification preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
