About the Role

Seeking a highly qualified childcare professional to provide essential support by caring for three children, ages ranging from three to eight years old and general household support.

Hours Compensation Location

Part-Time / Thursday Sunday

Hours : 11 : 00 AM 7 : 00 PM / 32 hours per week

Salary : $45,000 per year

Location : Dewitt, MI

Note : Must live within a 15 20 mile radius of home

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care by
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
• Supervise and engage children in educational and recreational activities
• Ensure the well-being and safety of each child at all times
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents / guardians
• Monitor and assist with mealtimes
• Foster positive relationships and promote social skills development among children
• Create a clean and organized classroom environment
• Perform general housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Ensure all rooms are stocked with supplies and amenities
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
• Follow established cleaning procedures and guidelines to maintain a high standard of cleanliness
• Assist with laundry and linen services
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations
• Coordinate with other household staff

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children, such as, babysitting or childcare center
• Knowledge of childhood development and behavior management techniques
• Familiarity with first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for children of various ages
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to adapt to the needs of individual children and provide appropriate care
• Understanding of age-appropriate activities for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, etc.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques for different surfaces and materials
• Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards is a plus
• Ability to perform floor care tasks such as carpet cleaning and floor polishing
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma or equivalent education
