About the Role

We’re looking for a Business Lead to join the Figure Markets team focused on our Exchange. As the business owner for Exchange, you will help guide the product and the underlying technology to deliver an innovative product and best in class user experience.  You will work across the company and with our talented leadership and engineering teams to execute on our strategy for Figure Markets.

What You’ll Do

• Act as a thought leader and advisor on Figure Markets Exchange; collaborate with our product and engineering teams to bring best in class features to market.  
• Write business requirements and work cross functionally to identify, analyze and resolve critical issues for Figure Markets Exchange.
• Dive into the details of our exchange, helping to define our product offering including order types and assets traded (spot and derivatives such as perpetuals and futures).  
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to ensure our products are competitive; be an internal SME and sounding board.
• Clearly define and communicate strategy, priorities, and key performance indicators with all stakeholders. Contribute to our roadmap, mapping out which assets to add to our exchange (and when). 
• Fully comprehend the drivers of our business, proactively looking for opportunities to improve, reduce friction and drive efficiencies.

What We Look For

• 8 years experience working in product, strategy or operations at a Fintech or in Financial Services, preferably working with trading and/or exchange products.
• Expertise in securities trading and traditional asset classes as well as a deep understanding of the crypto and DeFi space; able to discuss and have a view on DEX, CEX, AMMs and other components of crypto trading. 
• Proven history of successfully managing and delivering large, cross-functional projects on time and with high quality.
• Excited by and comfortable within a fast paced environment that is constantly evolving. 
• Passion for solving problems and results oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and history of working cross functionally.

For CO, NY, CA and WA residents, the salary range for this position is $140,800 - 176,000 with a 25% Bonus and Equity. Actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience and location.
