Operations Manager

We are hiring a dedicated, skilled and experienced Operations Manager to provide outstanding leadership and supervision to a small team of technicians who provide a unique mobile service for the micro-filtration of cooking oil and deep cleaning of commercial fryers. We service fryers located in hospitals, stadiums, colleges, restaurants and anywhere deep fryers are found throughout the St. Petersburg area.

Job Responsibilities

· You will work with, lead and manage a team of technicians in the daily operations of our service business.

· You will direct and coordinate service operations to new and existing accounts

· You will assist the owner in all other aspects of the business and you will also service specific accounts yourself.

Additionally, this position coordinates activities involving record keeping, staff management and you will assist in initiatives and controlling costs to maximize profitability. You will be responsible for execution of all policies, procedures, programs and systems and anything else required by the owner. You will be the right-hand person for the owner, running the operations on a daily basis out of our main location in Bridgeview, IL.

Job Requirements

You must take ownership in the operation providing leadership, training and consistent decision-making. You must generate increased sales/profits through the maintenance of existing accounts and working with the owner in the introduction and start up of new accounts and/or new services. You must have strong communication and time management skills, a high energy level, be able to multi-task, the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. You must be highly organized, proactive and have situational awareness.

Qualified Individuals will possess the Following:

· **Minimum of 3 years of route-based service technician or general labor management experience of at least 5 individuals **

· A valid drivers license with excellent driving history

· Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

· Be able to pass a drug, alcohol and background check prior to hiring

· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead in a team environment

· Strong written, verbal skills and experience in using a computer and/or tablet

· Ability to speak Spanish not required but considered a plus

· Excellent observation skills, the ability to prioritize and solve problems

· Strong time management skills

· Proactive, take charge, insightful

· Mechanically inclined

· A Problem Solver who can execute and follow-up

· The ability to work independently, follow schedules and ensure your team does the same

· The ability to hold people accountable and take the appropriate action on a timely basis

· Have a smart phone with text and email capability

· The ability to work in hot kitchens and lift up to 75 pounds _*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
