FRC is seeking a Test Technician for its Palm Bay, Florida operations. This person will operate sophisticated test equipment to conduct a variety of functional, operational, environmental and life tests necessary to evaluate performance and reliability of components in equipment systems. Duties performed under limited supervision.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES . Operates sophisticated test equipment and testing systems to set up, align and test all types of complex electrical components, equipment, and systems. . Accepts conforming products and rejects nonconforming products. . Troubleshoots electrical components, equipment and systems to determine cause of nonconformance to specifications. . Maintains related test and repair documentation. . May be required to perform additional duties as directed.
REQUIREMENTS . Must receive training identified in FRCQP‐1800 as applicable. . Must perform job duties in compliance with FRC’s quality system. . Must be able to understand and operate sophisticated test equipment and overall calibration of testing systems for set up, alignment, testing and troubleshooting of all types of complex electrical components, equipment, and systems. . Must have basic Math skills to understand test setup and measurement instructions. . Two‐ year degree in electronics/technical field or equivalent is desirable. . Must pass far, near, and color vision acuity testing per customer requirements.
