Job Description

FILTERBUY, INC is looking for a Shipping/Receiving Receptionist to join our team. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, has the ability to multi-task, and is able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties include:
Checking and verifying all incoming shipments are in compliance with company standards and with size, weight, quantity, and other specifications as applicable.

• Verifying that all outgoing shipments are in compliance with company standards and with size, weight, quantity, and other specifications as applicable.
• Responsible for the management of all incoming and outgoing shipments; including verifying that all shipments meet or exceed specified size, weight, quantity, and other specifications as applicable.
• Responsible for the management of all incoming and outgoing supplies; including receiving, labeling, processing and shipping as requested by the Shipping Manager.
• Responsible for the receipt, inspection and storage of all supplies that are received by the shipping department.
• Responsible for the receipt of all incoming supplies from suppliers; including verifying that the supply is in compliance with size, weight, quantity, and other specifications as applicable.
• Responsible for the inspection of all outgoing supplies; including receiving, inspecting, storing and shipping as requested by the Shipping Manager.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Experience: Required: 1 year experience in a similar position preferred. Basic math skills required (addition & subtraction). Ability to comprehend written instructions. Ability to comprehend oral instructions written. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers both internally and external (customers & vendors). Ability to follow established processes and procedures such as safety procedures and policies and procedures related to shipping & receiving. Experience working in a warehouse facility preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.35 - $16.85 per hour
