Job Summary:
The Assembler IV is responsible for operating and maintaining stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and following established manufacturing procedures. They will use hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units and test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards. Additionally, they may be responsible for repairing or refitting parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels, keeping daily assembly production records, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position typically requires a high school diploma and the Assembler IV typically reports to a supervisor.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Assign work based on the production schedule
- Complete all inventory transactions daily
- Provide feedback on work performance
- Communicate clear instructions
- Monitor production quality and quantity
- Report daily results to the supervisor
- Identify and troubleshoot simple production equipment issues
Requirements
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Fold and pack filters according to work instructions and inventory requirements
- Precisely cap pre-cut filters to meet size requirements and customer demand
- Efficiently assemble filter frames using a rivet machine
- Reclaim returns or scrap filters from folding and production
- Swiftly move materials between workstations using pallet jacks or carts
- Skillfully operate light machinery for cutting, assembling, or packing
- Accurately perform systematic inventory transactions using a computer or handheld device
- Execute any other assigned duties promptly and effectively

Education and Experience:

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting at a workstation
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Shift Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 11pm-7:30am
