Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Regional sales manager sells our complete product line across all industry segments
- Initiates, prepares, and coordinates the development of individual action plan
- Responsible for new customer prospecting, lead management and component pricing
- Travels as required to develop and maintain a pipeline of new and existing customers
- Provides President and General Manager weekly sales plan with a focus on new customers
- When necessary, helps lead the logistics, customer service and all other support functions
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary by senior management
- Must provide own transportation
- Maximum allowable vehicle expense reimbursement by mile
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
- Position requires general mobility to function throughout customer facilities and work sites
- Prolonged periods of sitting, standing/walking
- Ability to travel - some overnight stay required
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs and work comfortably in heavy industrial and bulk material handling environments
- Ability to operate/use: General Office Equipment, Personal Computer
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- Position requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent industrial experience
- Three years’ experience working an industrial product line and outside sales
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications, analytical, and sales skills required
- Self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to work effectively with little or no supervision
- Overall solid business knowledge and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Windows Interface and Microsoft Applications
- Able to demonstrate a history of stability, accomplishment, and success within industry segments outlined
- Understands and has successful experience with doing “pull-through” selling by creating demand at the end user level
