Administrative Assistant – Financial Institutions
Summary
This Administrative Assistant role will support a team of junior bankers in the Financial Institutions group.
The Administrate Assistant position requires someone who is a team player and has excellent communication and organizational skills. He/she can identify and manage the right priorities and processes to ensure that the bankers have what they need to seamlessly serve the needs of Lazard.
The Administrative Assistant is expected to be a thought partner and trusted advisor to the individuals on the team, being able to find creative solutions. He/she will make decisions and give guidance to others based on knowledge of the team’s preferences.
The Administrative Assistant is expected to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment and to respond effectively and creatively to competing priorities and last-minute changes in a sometimes-ambiguous environment.
Responsibilities
Expenses
- Process and submit expense reports on a timely basis for a large number of bankers
- Accurately code expenses and provide backup documentation as necessary
- Trouble shoot as needed for missing receipts from hotels, restaurants, etc.
- Proficiency in Concur preferred
Manage calendars and book meetings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Connect preferred
Phone coverage
- Answer high volume/multiple phone lines
- Take and relay messages accurately, respond as needed
- Provide backup support and phone coverage for other Administrative Assistants
Travel
- Provide related information as needed - directions, alternative and back-up options, commuting time, time differences, etc.
- Book travel and ground transportation for client events, roadshows, etc.

Basic Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the financial services industry
- Technology – proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook
