Title : LAN / WAN Electronic Maintenance Repair Technician
Duration : ASAP to 10 / 21 / 2024 (6 months temp to permanent)
Type : 2 : 30 PM to 10 : 00 PM (7 Hours Mon-Fri / 35 Hours weekly)
Location : On-site 1202 Orchard Hill Road Lagrange GA 30240
MUST BE LOCAL TO Lagrange GA (No relocation)

Education : High School Diploma or GED Required
JOB ROLE :
Breakdown Repair Response
Provide immediate response to breakdown situations coordinating with machinists when appropriate to ensure a quick resolve without compromising equipment or safety.
Technical Knowledge.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic and electromechanical components of pressroom, mailroom and building equipment safely and efficiently.
Troubleshooting and repair of network, PLC, automated remote controls. Strong skill base to install and commission new equipment or systems.
REQUIREMENTS :
Skills in the use of electronic and instrumentation shop instruments (volt ohm multimeter, oscilloscope, clamp on amp meter, soldering iron, regulated power supply etc.
to set equipment to manufacturers specifications, and make appropriate repairs.
Skills in the use of other small shop equipment (drill press, grinder, etc.) to repair damaged or manufacture retrofit parts for equipment.
Skills in routine maintenance and repair of WAN and LAN Microsoft platform equipment for client e-mail, page flow delivery, special applications used to operate production equipment and desktop support.
Skills in routine maintenance and repair of PLC systems.
Ability to use a laptop to troubleshoot ladder logic, install software upgrades and equipment preventive maintenance programs.
General knowledge in the troubleshooting and repair of electronic and electromechanical systems and electrical controls. General knowledge of electrical code, techniques of running conduit and electrical controls for new installations (voltage up to 120VAC).
Improve productivity and quality of product by proactively observing equipment for problems and seeking creative solutions.
Listening to and seeking input from customers (mailroom, pressroom and other personnel) in a coordinated effort to continuously improve upon the production quality score.
Communications; Effective use of oral and written skills (department logs, work orders, electronic and electromechanical report, email, etc.
in communicating with TS Manager, maintenance foreman and other departments to ensure plant maintenance programs remain effective and results timely.
Utilization of maintenance records (department preventative maintenance logs, equipment logs, etc.) to keep information useful and timely.
Updating and maintaining spare parts inventory as parts are used to ensure accuracy.
Adhere to all company environmental policies and practices, utilize safe work practices including but not limited to lockout / tagout program and hot work permit program to protect personnel and equipment.
Maintain safe and clean work is by good housekeeping practices (putting away supplies, tools, etc., and cleaning up when work is done).
