What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Financial Staff?
Our practice is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to assist in managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements. Which include accounts payable, checkbook/credit card reconciliation, payroll, CAT and Use tax, unclaimed funds and 1099’s. Candidate will perform some HR functions as needed. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills and accuracy are important qualifications for this position, as well as good customer relations and the ability to communicate clearly. The ideal candidate for this position is a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and self-motivated. 25 hours per week. Please apply with resume and references.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel
- Experience in balance sheet reconciliation and financial report writing
- Strong understanding of double entry bookkeeping and journal entries
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
