What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regulatory Affairs Specialist position at Find Great People | FGP?
OVERVIEW
If you have a background in chemical regulatory compliance and want to work for a company that has been at the forefront of innovation for over 60 years, consider applying for this REMOTE position with occasional on-site meetings in Aiken/Augusta area. (Someone MUST live within a few-hour commute to this location.)
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-3 years recent and/or current background in Chemical Regulatory Compliance AND
- SDS experience and/or
- EPA reporting experience and/or
- EU REACH reporting experience and/or
- Product registration/classification experience, etc.
- VERY good public speaking/presentation skills
- VERY good technical writing ability
- Able to train onsite in Aiken/Augusta area for 1-2 weeks; able to occasionally drive to the area within a few hours at most
- Able to work remotely (or on-site if you prefer and are local)
DUTIES
- Evaluate regulations to determine impact on company processes and to ensure ongoing compliance with regulations, both international and domestic
- Explain regulations as needed to appropriate team members and advise on compliance matters
- Coordinate regulatory documentation and maintain data in system
- Provide technical reports or explanations as needed
- Submit EPA product registrations online as well as regulatory permits and notification applications
- Prepare other regulatory reports and documentation for regulating bodies and relevant authorities or parties
- Gather data, interpret data, and report on data both for pre and post market products
- Conduct product hazard reviews, safety reviews, risk assessments, and audits to ensure ongoing compliance
- Maintain all licenses, labels, and documentation according to proper filing regulations and timelines
- Answer any customer questions related to compliance or regulatory policies tied to manufacturing process, shipping, handling, and more
- Coordinate with 3rd party consultants or any other relevant parties in regards to compliance and regulations
- Write in-depth technical documents as well as other correspondence, documents, surveys, filings, reports, and more
- Prepare and submit annual reports, quarterly reports, and other reports according to timelines
- Represent the company in the area of regulatory compliance and product stewardship as needed
PAY/BENEFITS
- $60k-$85k/year DOE
