What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent position at Find Great People | FGP?
- Manage all aspects of on-site construction activities from start to finish
- Coordinate and supervise trade contractors and material suppliers, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process promptly and effectively
- Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns
- Ensure that all materials and equipment are available on-site and that work proceeds according to schedule
- Maintain detailed and accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and inspection logs
- Open all homes under construction at 7:45 am every day and close them before going home
- Manage inspection from the third party company as well as the city inspections
- Proven leadership experience in residential construction
- Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- $55,000 – $65,000
