About the Role
Finfare is looking for an experienced Director of Sales to support our various SaaS products. As the Director of Sales, you will be a key driver of our revenue growth strategy. This role will emphasize your ability to strategically identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in the fintech and related sectors.We are looking for someone with a successful track record with generating new business opportunities, building our customer base, and creating strong, lasting relationships with partners as a trusted resource. An ideal candidate will have experience working in a fintech setting with strong B2B/B2B2C experience with selling business cards/credit products, and/or payment processing.
Responsibilities
- Lead the sales effort by prospecting and cultivating relationships with key decision-makers at potential client companies.
- Drive the full sales cycle from initial outreach to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring alignment with revenue targets.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Business Development, and Product to develop compelling sales strategies and product positioning.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand client needs and articulate our value proposition effectively.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management using CRM tools.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance our market presence and establish thought leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 7 years of solution selling experience with a strong network of contacts; ideally in business cards/credit products, payment processing, merchant-funded rewards, card-linked offers or loyalty solutions.
- Experience within the fintech industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to proactively engage new clients through various communication channels.
- A high sense of urgency that can adapt and pivot in various conversation flows.
- A team-player attitude with a desire to improve internal processes beyond your day-to-day tasks.
- A desire to learn, grow, and get in on the ground floor of a unicorn startup while launching your career in fintech sales.
- Demonstrated sales success, leadership, and commercial insight.
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles within the fintech industry.
- Strong understanding of financial services, payments, or related sectors.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for driving results.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $120K - $135k (depending on experience) OTE (uncapped commission).
