Our Security department is looking for an analytical and highly organized Physical Security Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for identifying, defining, and documenting physical security and fire processes/procedures, risks, problems, and opportunities relative to physical security best practices. Qualified candidates will have a minimum 1 year of experience supporting physical security functions with knowledge of the financial investigation process and Regulation 748a.

Job Duties
- Identify, define, and document physical security risks, problems and opportunities relative to physical security best practices and regulatory security requirements
- Place and monitor service tickets
- Respond to security-related events (on a 24/7 basis)
- Assist with the continued development, implementation and administration of delivering security training programs involving branches, vendors, corporate locations
- Act as secondary contact on security related projects
- Acts as secondary contact for alarm calls, which could be during nonoperational hours
- Research and assist in implementing changes to procedures and systems to enhance physical security as defined in the security standards, policy and program
- Assist with audit findings and the resolution of the deficiency
- Assist with performing security risk reviews of branches and corporate location
- Establish and maintain satisfactory liaison with law enforcement officials in all employee locations
- Maintain digital files for each location regarding any available resources and emergency services agencies available
- Serve as backup on access badge requests
- Log and track incidents and suspicious alerts, identifying and reporting trends to leadership
- Assist with the management of the security vendors
Essential skills
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration is preferred
- Minimum one year experience in physical security
- Basic knowledge of financial investigation process is preferred
- Basic knowledge of Regulation 748a is preferred
- Ability to work autonomously to manage time effectively and prioritize work appropriately to meet deadlines
- Strong business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of audiences
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to resolve complex issues with minimal direction
- Ability to create and deliver engaging presentations tailored to diverse audiences
- Ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Certification/License: APP is preferred
