What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School ELA Tutor (24/25 School Year) position at FIREFLY TUTORS?
Firefly Tutors is hiring a HIGH SCHOOL ELA TUTOR!
This is a year-round position for the 24/25 school year and beyond!
IN-HOME/IN-PERSON tutoring ONLY
9th Grade ELA Subject Area tutor needed in Los Osos, CA and surrounding areas (IN-PERSON ONLY)
MUST BE AVAILABLE DURING SCHOOL HOURS to provide in-person tutoring throughout the week
Ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Engaging, skilled, creative, compassionate, intuitive, encouraging tutor
- Versed in high school level English Language Arts instruction (grammar, mechanics, writing, etc.)
- At least 1-2 years of experience working with students (SPED experience a plus)
OTHER SUBJECTS and SKILLS INCREASES EARNING POTENTIAL
Pay is $35 per hour
1-20 hours per week, Part-time only
In-home tutoring only
